Las Vegas

We have already posted a blog about our previous Vegas experieince so we will not go into detail about the place here. We just put together 3  little vids instead.

When we went to Las Vegas in March last year, we did not have time to visit the Grand Canyon and we have regretted it ever since. So this time we made sure we went out to see another one of the world's natural wonders. And we did it in style! Click below and take off with us.

Below is a montage I put together of our time in Vegas.

Christmas and Hunakah were no where near as big as we expected. We thought big and extravagant, usual Vegas style, but not so much.

Given we had already seen so many things on this trip away, we decided to tone down the show viewing here in Vegas, but we couldn't resist seeing David Copperfield. Overall we were disappointed with the show considering his reputation and what we had expected. He did some pretty ordinary tricks and illusions that we were able to work out. But admittedly he did two or three illusions that just blew us away. Perhaps we have become used to the extravaggance of some of the shows you can see in Vegas and now expect it. Who knows, but I would not pay the price of the ticket to see him again. It did annoy us also how much he continued to tell the audience how amazing he is. I think the fame has got to your head David! Tim really wanted to see him fly, which unfortunately he didn't, so I suppose that's one thing we had up on him this trip after our Grand Canyon experience.

Check out the world's largest chocolate fountain we found at the Bellagio.
