Vegas Hotel Highlights (part 2)

The Bellagio

Probably our second favourite hotel/casino. The fountains were obviously the biggest drawcard and they are absolutely spectacular. Mel did a great job of taking photos and this video footage below, but it's hard to capture the magnitude of this incredible attraction.

The foyer inside the Bellagio was also a sight to see. Every season they have a different theme and because we arrived at the start of spring it was an array of stunning floral and butterfly creations that covered the atrium walls and roof.

Caesar's

I know we have covered some of Caesars in both the shopping and Celine/Cirque post, but here are some more pictures of the stunning hotel. This hotel/casino actually covers the most area on the strip and it seems to take an eternity to walk from one side to the other on the path out the front. You would have to be a fit bellboy to take someones luggage from concierge to the furtherest hotel room.

Here are just a few photos of some of the other hotels that are on the strip that unfortunately we didn't have the time to explore. Next trip.

 Barneys

Bills

Out the front of the Flamingo I ran into a couple of friends. Funnily enough I don't think either of these gentlemen had heard of the movie Toy Story because as I shouted "to infinity and beyond" this little voice inside of Woody said "yeah, that sounds good".

 The Luxor

Excalibur
(kind of like a medieval castle built by Disney I reckon)

Treasure Island
The pic on the right is our pool full of spring break students doing who knows what in the water. We were just happy to sunbake in the 30 dregree heat.

After our sunbake we went inside the hotel to a great little bar called Kahunnaville where the bar staff did a cocktail show at 6:30 pm every night. Their signature drink was a tropical rum fruit cocktail called 'The Big Kahunna'. This is me trying to fit the whole glass into 'My Big Gob'!

As you can see we had the most incredible time and I want to thank my beautiful wife for taking me there on my birthday. A present I will never forget. Can't wait to go back there again.
